Safety Tip: Hostage Code

Have you ever been concerned that a ‘bad person’ follows you home, and then forces his way into your house?  He hears the alarm system buzzing an entry delay.  He demands that your turn off the alarm immediately.  You comply, but use your special hostage code.  He thinks you complied, but what he doesn’t know is that help is on the way.  Hostage codes (sometimes called Duress codes) let you call help when forced to disarm your home security system.  The Hostage code is silent, and calls for help immediately.  Chances are that your alarm system already has a hostage code.  Do you remember what your hostage code is?
